O.M.G. that fall off the bone oxtail though!
At Pho de Nguyen, you can really taste the quality/freshness of the ingredients. I got the oxtail beef pho. The broth tasted very clear and flavorful. I picked up the oxtail with my chopsticks and the meat basically fell off the bone because it was so tender. The noodles were fresh and had a great bite to it. I also got to try the duck too. The skin was so crisp and the meat is so plump and juicy.
I highly recommend checking this place out and trying it for yourself. It is like an elevated Vietnamese restaurant. The owners checked in with us after the meal because they actually care about your feedback. They put in a lot of effort and love into the food they put out and you can taste it!
Pho de Nguyen FTW (lol) -

I'm so happy I found this restaurant! We were visiting my cousin and were in the mood for pho. I went on yelp of course, and found Pho de Nguyen.
There's street parking, and two lots in the back. We parked about a block away and were sat at a table as soon as we walked in. The server was very friendly and she repeated our order back to us to ensure accuracy. We ordered the fried egg rolls, a Thai tea, ox tail curry, and a combination pho. Everything was SO good. The egg rolls were hot, crispy and fresh and the Thai tea was really tasty, not watered down. I wish they offered boba with it though.
The pho was really good, they make the noodles in house, and you can taste the freshness. We ordered hot tea also but I think our server forgot. This place gets busy, so I'm happy we got a table.
I'll definitely be back here for lunch or dinner, and I'll make sure to try the garlic duck noodles. -

I have been following these folks on Instagram for a year. Finally got to San Bruno to try them. Totally worth the 3 hour drive!!!
Went with my mom and sister. We ordered the shaken beef, duck pho, and Bun bo hun along with two types of wings for appetizers. Everything was fantastic!
The noodles in the pho are the things poets write about! The duck pho brought tears of joy! The wings were delightfully crispy and well flavored.
So, ya, give 'em s try! -

Solid beef pho and other Vietnamese food with a clean and cozy interior.
This place is what you'd expect of very solid Pho. The appetizers such as the tartare and chicken salad are also very good! -

AN AVERAGE OXTAIL PHO IN SAN BRUNO:
The broth is much better than many Vietnamese Oxtail Pho's restaurants in the Bay Area. However, It's not the best that I've tried (Oxtail Pho at Pho Hollic in Orange County $9 has a better taste and much bigger, and the price in the Orange County is always better $9).
The bowl needs to have more oxtails. I counted only one bone in my bowl!!! What?!! I paid $14.
I returned this time but probably not any more.
*** Side dishes are also okay. I picked a chicken salad.
